If we are being completely accurate, my blogversary was yesterday! And I had actually planned this post for next week before I realised it was my blogversary this month.<\/p>\n

Yes, I am very good at what I do, clearly.<\/p>\n

In my first year of blogging here on WordPress, I had a much slower schedule, and then I disappeared for a while after finding out I was pregnant. Since then, I like to think I’ve gotten a little better?<\/p>\n

But we’re not here to talk about my blogging habits or my stats (which could be better, but hey, I’ve got a nice community of blogger and writer friends, so what do stats matter anyhow?). We’re here to talk about a subject I usually avoid talking about – ME!<\/p>\n

I’ve been signing off on my posts as Ara, a nickname some friends gave me maybe six years ago that has stuck, because it is much easier to pronounce and spell then my actual name.<\/p>\n

I am a mom and a wife and a daughter and an older sister.<\/p>\n

I am a blogger and a writer and a poet.<\/p>\n

I am a reader and a movie buff and a critic.<\/p>\n

I am a mess and a half, but I like to think I’m doing okay.<\/p>\n

More recently, I have become an entrepreneur and a business woman, and I’m trying to figure things out, in both my personal and professional lives. Balance is hard and I don’t know how my blogger friends do it.<\/p>\n

This blog is now two years old, and I hope that it will continue to grow, and I will continue to blog for more years to come. I hope to interact more with other bloggers and other writers, and maybe, who knows, someday I will be blogging about my own writing?<\/p>\n

The sky’s the limit, and all that jazz.<\/p>\n
