Once I started though, it was hard pressed for me to stop. I took to twitter to post my flailing because I had no one to speak to about the book.

This was the first book I finished this year, and what a way to start the year. My expectations for the end of the series were not just met, but surpassed. I felt like each character got a fitting culmination of their individual story lines, and that there was enough of an optimistic open-end for the future. Not every loose thread was wrapped up, but it was realistic. Or as realistic as a sci-fi fairytale series set in the future could be, anyway.

I really enjoyed the novel, and I am definitely going to be reading more of Marissa Meyer’s works as and when she publishes them.
