I can never keep up, I go into reading slumps, things just spiral out of control and I find myself disheartened and stressed and anxious for failing at them.<\/p>\n<p>But this one.<\/p>\n<p>THIS ONE.<\/p>\n<p>You guys, it speaks to my soul.<\/p>\n<p>A challenge, for reading Asian-inspired novels? By Asian authors?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like a challenge specifically created for me.<\/p>\n<p>On top of that, there are levels of targets to hit, so obviously I&#8217;ve signed up for the lowest. If I read more than that, great! If not, well, that&#8217;s okay too. No stress.<\/p>\n<h4>What is #YARC2019 exactly?<\/h4>\n<p>It is the Year of the Asian Reading Challenge hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/shutupshealea.com\/2019\/01\/16\/asian-reading-challenge-2019\/\">Shealea @ Shut Up, Shealea<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thequietpond.com\/2019\/01\/15\/welcome-to-the-year-of-asian-reading-challenge-join-us-and-read-asian-literature-in-2019-sign-ups-information-excite\/\">CW @ The Quiet Pond<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sprinklesofdreams.wordpress.com\/2019\/01\/15\/year-of-the-asian-reading-challenge-yarc2019\/\">Lily @ Sprinkles Of Dreams<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/vickywhoreads.wordpress.com\/2019\/01\/14\/9872\/\">Vicky @ Vicky Who Reads<\/a>. The challenge is to read as many books written by Asian authors as you can within the year of 2019. These books can be backlist books, debuts or ARCs. So long as it is written by an Asian author, and you have started and completed the book in 2019, you can add it to your list.<\/p>\n<p>As I mentioned above, there are TARGET LEVELS and the badges are adorable.
