It’s officially more than two years since we started these prompts. It’s allowed me to try so many new genres and styles of storytelling across a span of so many different sorts of prompts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month’s prompt was set by Ash<\/a> and I’ll be honest, I almost went for something extremely tragic based on my religious history. I’ve been doing a bit of reading and learning again on the history of my ancestors and the prompt is perfect for that. While the story I ultimately wrote is still inspired by history, it’s not that first tragic story I thought of. (Maybe someday I’ll be able to write that without crying but that day is not today!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
