I actually unashamedly love Josh Duhamal a lot, but this movie can use a facelift. Racebent Romcoms has me taking existing Hollywood romantic comedies (and romances), and recasting them for the modern day with a more diverse cast. Featuring Jameela Jamil as Holly Berenson and Jason Momoa as Eric Messer. They love Sophie more than anything in they entire world, and out of everyone, Messer, they picked us.

I loved this movie so much, and Domnhall Gleeson was a delight, but if they ever remade it, let’s remember to change things up, yeah? Racebent Romcoms has me taking existing Hollywood romantic comedies (and romances), and recasting them for the modern day with a more diverse cast. Featuring Samuel Anderson as Tim Lake and Katie Leung as Mary. There’s a song by Baz Luhrmann called Sunscreen. He says worrying about the future is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life will always be things that never crossed your worried mind.

I actually thought this was a very cute movie – hello, Hugh Dancy – but then again. A remake wouldn’t be remiss?
