NEWSLETTER SNIPPETS; We’ve Scrapped Issue Numbers!

So as you can tell, no more issue numbers! This is in part because I’ll be sending out newsletter every six weeks instead of every quarter – one went out mid August before the September one, and the next will be going out mid November! – and in part because I’ll be sharing less of the snippets here.
Can you tell all of this is a work in progress? We adapt as we go on, etcetra etcetra.
It was an eventful six weeks between newsletters. In good ways – there were a couple of family weddings, my parents took us on the Disney cruise, we met SO MUCH family – and bad ways – there were also three losses almost back to back in our extended family.
Yeah. So. Eventful.

The Great British Bake Off season has just started. I am not sorry about the person I may turn into on social media and Discord. I’ve even gotten my kids into the Junior show, which I hadn’t realised was still airing because Netflix only has two seasons. Boo at Netflix, really.
I have finished TWO books in September! Both were slightly above a 4 star read for me – The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst, which I enjoyed more than the first in that series, and T. Kingfisher’s A Sorceress Comes To Call, which was a little darker than what I usually read – and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

However, this has been a low writing month for me compared to the last few. Husband pointed out it might be the downturn I wind up going through healthwise affecting my focus, which does happen, we’ve noticed. Treatment is mid-November, so while I’m hoping October will be a little bit more productive, I won’t hold it against myself if it’s not.
I will also be trying to get What Happened In Vegas back on Amazon and Facets as well! Singular short stories will remain on just Ko-fi and Itchio, I think.

And now for another poll! As the last times, it will be posted on my blog, Ko-fi, Bluesky, Tumblr, TikTok, Youtube and LinkedIn and on my Discord server as well.
Which story would you rather get in December?
- Misaligned
- To Mother You Again

I think I am liking the ‘every six weeks’ newsletter, but it’s only been a bit since I’ve started that. What do you think? Is it too often or not often enough, still?

If you like my content, consider leaving me a tip on Ko-fi!
