Seraphina: The Audition
by Rachel Hartman

The Audition is a free prequel to Seraphina available online. It takes place a few weeks prior to Seraphina, covering Seraphina Dombegh’s audition to become Viridius’s assistant and thus Glisselda’s music tutor.

Review:

To be perfectly honest, I only read this to see if I would like the author’s writing style, to see if I would want to read the series. And boy, did I like her style. Seraphina already seems like she will be a fascinating protagonist, and I did enjoy the Princess. The differences between the dragons and the humans, and the way they are perceived is already being set. I hope to find the rest of the series in the library.

I’m Ara, a Southeast Asian writer who someday hopes to have published a novel, and who is currently losing herself in the worlds created by others. I love books and food and television and blogging and I get distracted and sidetracked easily.
