    February has been a productive month for me, though it’s also brought me a little bit of reflection. Overall, hoping the rest of this quarter of the year goes the way the first two months have been going! This month’s prompt was chosen by Morris. I went through a cycle of grief – started a story, hated it, scraped it and wrote something else in an entirely different genre – with this.     (Prefacing this with: I’m writing this round up post very early because I will be out of town for a couple of weeks up until this needs to go up and I won’t have my laptop.)     This month’s prompt was chosen by the ever so encouraging and wonderful Morris Wayts – it’s his birthday month! – and my first thought when I saw it was oh no. It seemed very out of my comfort zone, and I struggled with coming up with an idea for it. I was almost ready to throw in the towel before I had an idea that I wound up writing.
