I recently started playing FFXIV so when Lou suggested the prompt for this month, it didn’t take me very long before I decided what my story was going to be – a sort of pre-canon of why my player character decided to set out from home to the main cities in the first place, but also just fleshing out her family a little bit. This month marked the 12th month of the Author Avengers taking a single prompt and coming up with our own individual takes on it. Can you believe it? I sure can’t!
