It’s officially more than two years since we started these prompts. It’s allowed me to try so many new genres and styles of storytelling across a span of so many different sorts of prompts. This month’s prompt was set by Ash and I’ll be honest, I almost went for something extremely tragic based on my religious history. I’ve been doing a bit of reading and learning again on the history of my ancestors and the prompt is perfect for that. This month’s prompt was something different – a little longer than could fit on my graphic too! – but so much fun. Chosen by L’poni Baldwin, the full prompt included a video to give more inspiration. What would your character do if they could flee to any world in their universe? Would they make it their new vacation home? Try to take over? The decision and story can be based around their motivation. Perhaps your characters need a vacation. Or Your character is thrown into the worst possibly world in their universe. AUTHOR AVENGERS; September Round Up
It is the second month of the Author Avengers approaching the same prompt with our own spins. Life, of course, means not all of us got to the prompt – but those of us that did all had different stories to tell. And man, once again was it interesting to see how we took the same prompt and churned out very different stories. There were less fills this month.
